Hitech Pulse-Eight announce Mika Abrahams in the 2024 ROKiT British F4 Championship certified by FIA
Mika Abrahams competed in karting for four years in South Africa and Italy, before making the step up to car racing. He impressed in the Danish F4 Championship in 2022, scoring nine podiums from just fifteen starts. In 2023, the 15-year-old made the move to British F4, taking a podium in only his maiden year in the series.
The South African driver is now set to race with Hitech Pulse-Eight in his sophomore season in British F4, joining Deagen Fairclough and Reza Seewooruthun on the grid. The team’s final driver is set to be announced over the coming weeks.
Reflecting on the announcement on his move to ROKiT British Formula 4, Abrahams exclaimed,
“I’m really proud to be driving for a world class team like Hitech. I’m grateful for the opportunity they have given me.
‘The whole team has been so welcoming and I’m ready to get to work to take on my second season in British F4 with this great team behind me.”
Hitech’s F4 Team Manager, Dominic Stott, added,
“We are delighted to have Mika join us for 2024. After some impressive performances last season, we are confident he will be a front-runner this year.
“After narrowly missing out on the drivers and teams championships in 2023, signing Mika is another sign of our intentions going into the new season.
“While he will still be 15 when the season starts and one of the youngest on the grid, he has plenty of experience and has been working hard in the off season to be best prepared for the challenge ahead.”
